Does anyone know how I could do this? Basically I have a client who wants to stream a part of their store to the general public so that people could see what happens during the day. All that I know at the moment is that it will be a flash window located on their front page. I just don't know how I should go about streaming to the web. Would I need a dedicated IP? Hardware/Server? What kind of bandwidth would this require?
I posted the same question here some time back but got no response(N) So, i done some digging for myself.
When i done mine it was for a DofE (A Charity), which meant i was after a rather free option, i found YawCam (http://www.yawcam.com/). Downloading their software, i was then able to stream live onto a html page, which they set up for free! I then embeded it into my own website.

Well it sounds like you already decided on the Nano. You can't go wrong with it, as long you don't plan on expanding your music library anytime soon.
Nice noob response. :p Anyone who regularly listens to music uses playlists and rotates the music from their computer to their iPods. At any one time, no one is going to listen to their entire 20GB worth of music. They are more likely to use smart playlists and shuffle among them.

I whould just go and buy a xbox dont wait for the elite you are almost paying the price of a ps3 and no WIFI and HD-DVD. dose your tv have HDMI, and do you need the 120GB? :) :) :) :) :) :)

I have searched for the last 2 hours and have yet to find a solution that has worked for me.
I am using lockinfo and the lockinfo weather plugin. From what I have read, since we are on ipad, we are needing to overwrite the default weather app (since we dont have one). using the yahoo configuration. I put my location in USTX0617|12791340 (houston). and it is still not working. Can anyone out there help? This is driving me crazy.

I'm not necessarily waiting for Lion to come pre-installed, just waiting to see what Apple announces at WWDC.
And I'm not waiting for it to actually be installed in the iMac itself. I prefer the drop-in DVD.

So it will be interesting if the licencing allows the user to hold the content without a licence (just as a car can be held without having a driving licence).
This means that content could be distributed legally without the need of distributors. Then only when you listen to it do you require a licence to listen to it.
No copyright theft, just unlicenced use. So will the record industry attempt to become the sole licence issuer - you can bet on it..
Although that does not prevent the licence from stating that you cannot copy it etc. So what's interesting is - who is going to read the billion different licences that will now bombard the user? This is a change without the rules inplace to protect the public. This has now made the purchasing of music online unfeasable for the public user and you will have to buy through a provider because of the legal minefield.
That is *if* you have agreed to the licence. Is there a law requiring you to have a licence to listen to music? Not that I'm aware of... it would then fall on the music owner to prove on each case that you're an unlicenced individual and that they have to then show how much they'd loose in revenue to the judge... so the value (cost per track) is really low although you may end up with the legal fees..

Not 100% sure what you're looking for. Are you looking to extract the values from the picker or overlay the labels.
I want that:
if value in the first component is cars, the second component is mustang the fisrst label must show "1970" and the second label must show "v8"

I'd appreciate any links to distributed computing forums, not of the folding @ home type but for closed, professional grid-based computing. It'd be good to read up on what other people are doing in respect of this these days.

just an update.. I thought best buy was supposed to be doing the ticket system at 10am ?
I just called them and I was told that she cannot confirm on any of it .. except that iPads are being released tomorrow

The recruitment seminar is really relaxed and you will get through it as long as you be yourself, engage with the recruiters and other people there and ask plenty of questions at the end regarding the job. Don't come over too much as a hardcore Apple fanboy but talk about how much you can't put down your iPhone/iPod. During the group exercises, make sure you try and come over as a good leader but good team player at the same time - make sure that your ideas are part of the main focus but be sure to agree with ideas that you wish you though of. Otherwise, just enjoy it as it's really relaxed and you will spend most of the two and a half hours watching a presentation, videos and doing some group exercises. They get through hundreds of CV's at a time and to get the chance to be considered is a good achievement. Just out of interest, what store are you thinking of joining and what position are you after?
